The BEREA April 2013 Meeting was held at the Pembroke United Methodist Church.   The BEREA president, David Greene,  presented the scholarship to Jodi Cowart of Claxton.  Mrs. Purcell did  the installation of officers.  David Greene turned over the gavel to Barbara Estes who will be the next president of the BEREA and David will be the vice-president.  Anne Sanders is the treasure and Delores Fields is the secretary.  Mrs. Fields and Mrs. Geter left the meeting early to attend the funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Fields.  There were 19 members in attendance.  A delicious salad lunch was served by the Pembroke United Methodist Women.
